Draft — owner and legal review required
SEO Predator Chrome Extension Privacy Notice
Applies to the pre-release Chrome extension review build. Draft prepared October 24, 2026.
What the extension does
SEO Predator reviews the page in the active Chrome tab after the user opens the extension and chooses to analyze that page. It performs a limited, page-level SEO review locally in the browser. It does not run a background scan, enumerate open tabs, or query browsing history.
Information processed on your device
To produce a report, the extension processes the current page URL and title, selected page metadata and DOM-derived signals, and a sample of visible text capped at 40,000 characters. Signals include items such as metadata, headings, image attributes, links, script and resource hints, and JSON-LD types. The analysis is held in memory while the popup and report are open.
The extension does not read form values, cookies, passwords, or credentials. It does not save a page HTML dump or keep a persistent scan history. The extension package does not send scan data or page content to Delpuma or another remote service.
Reports and exports
If you choose an export, the report can contain derived findings and recommendations, the page title, scan date, and the URL with its query string and fragment removed. The report does not contain a page HTML copy. HTML and JSON files are downloaded only after you choose to export; a printed or saved PDF is created through your browser. You control where exported files are stored and whether you share them.
Page exclusion and sensitive content
The extension tries to skip private-looking routes and pages that contain a password input. These are heuristics, not a guarantee that every sensitive page will be detected. A page may expose sensitive content in its visible text or page structure. Use the extension only on pages you are comfortable having analyzed locally and, if you choose to export, included in a report.
Permissions
The review build uses Chrome’s activeTab permission so the user can grant temporary access to the selected tab, and scripting to run the one-time analysis there. It has no persistent content script or remote code loader. The extension bundle contains its interface, analyzer, styles, report, and local brand asset.
Links to Delpuma
The report may show fixed HTTPS links to Delpuma. Choosing one navigates your browser to that Delpuma webpage as an ordinary link. The extension does not attach the scan report or scanned page URL to those links.
Changes to this notice
If the extension’s behavior changes, the privacy notice should be reviewed and updated before distributing the changed build. Any future feature that sends information off-device would require a separate review and clear user disclosure before it is enabled.
